Dovetail End Mills are designed to machine accurate dovetail slots and undercuts on CNC equipment. Made from ultrafine-grain solid carbide with material‑specific edge preparation and coatings, they deliver stable cutting and clean finishes in a wide range of materials.

  • Reach: Minimize overhang. Select extended‑reach or necked variants for narrow pockets and deep cavities.

  • Material pairing: Aluminum/non‑ferrous—polished edges with ZrN or DLC, high RPM, light radial engagement. Alloy/hardened steels—TiAlN/AlTiN, prioritize rigidity, lower radial DOC; use coolant‑through when heat control is critical.

  • Programming tips: Favor climb milling, maintain low runout with precision toolholding, and use multiple light passes on steep angles.
